FUNERAL Tim Riordan RIP, formerly of Streatly Road, died on the 11th June in Abbeyfeal, Co. Limerick.

James Pearson RIP, late of Ainsworth Way, Boundary Road. Reception on Tuesday 19th June at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday 20th at 12.15pm, followed by burial at St Mary’s Cemetery, Kensal Green.

Betty Doyle RIP, late of Crone Court, Denmark Road. Service and cremation on Wednesday 20th June at 3.30pm at West London Crematorium, Kensal Green.

MARTYRS’ WALK On Tower Hill at 11am on 23rd June, come and gather in commemoration of the martyrs. Starting from Tower Hill, passing Greyfriars & St Patrick’s in Soho Square, ending at Tyburn Convent.

MASS FOR THE ANOINTING OF THE SICK Sunday 1st July at 3pm
Volunteers needed:
- to drive the housebound - It is hoped that family members will help.
- to steward the Car Park - around the Church and at the back of the Priests’ House.
- to welcome and usher people to their seats.
- to help with the tea party in the Community Centre after the Mass.
If you would like to bring food with you to share with others - please do so. Such food should be left in the Community Centre before the Mass.
Anyone needing transport, please let us know well in advance of the day. Phone the Parish Office on: 020 7624 1701.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION 2008 The preparation course for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion 2008 begins in October. Children should be in school year 3 or above, and parishioners of this parish. Please contact Judith at the parish office for further information. If you have a child with a learning disability or special educational needs who is to be prepared for First Communion, please let us know so that we can arrange for them to be included.
CONFIRMATION 2008 The preparation course for Confirmation 2008 begins in the Autumn. The course is open to young parishioners of this parish who are in school Year 10 or above, and who are practising Catholics. We will make every effort to include anyone with learning difficulties or special needs - please let us know. We may also be able to open this course to adults. Contact Judith at the parish office for further information.

CHEER A support group for single parents. Single fathers as well as single mothers are most welcome.

Our next Cheer Group Get-Together will take place on Saturday 30th June. This month we plan to have a picnic in Queens Park.

Everyone interested in attending should meet at Queens Park Tube Station at 2.30pm on Saturday 30th June. As well as a picnic for all, supervised games and play activities will be available throughout the afternoon.
