GETTING TO KNOW YOU
Church choir members, cleaners, readers, servers, offertory collectors and eucharistic ministers are invited to one of two meetings to be held in the Community Centre on Saturday, September 29 and Saturday, October 6. Both meetings from 2.30 – 4.30pm.The schedule and aim of the meeting is:

PAN-AFRICAN ANNUAL MASS
To commemorate the bicentenary of the abolition of the transatlantic slave trade will be held on Sunday 16th September at 3pm at St. George’s Catholic Church, 132 Shernhall Street, Walthamstow, London E17 9HU. There will be a procession to mark the occasion. After Mass there will be a Reception in the Parish Hall. All are cordially invited to attend and experience African Liturgy.

A group of young people are leaving tomorrow the 30th July, to join young people from around the world participating in a spiritual week in Medjugorje. We wish them all a safe journey. Please remember them in your prayers.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION 2008
The preparation course for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion 2008 begins in October. Children should be in school year 3 or above, and parishioners of this parish. Please contact Judith at the parish office for further information. If you have a child with a learning disability or special educational needs who is to be prepared for First Communion, please let us know so that we can arrange for them to be included.
CONFIRMATION 2008
The preparation course for Confirmation 2008 begins in the Autumn. The course is open to young parishioners of this parish who are in school Year 10 or above, and who are practising Catholics. We will make every effort to include anyone with learning difficulties or special needs - please let us know. We may also be able to open this course to adults. Contact Judith at the parish office for further information.
