“A BIG THANK YOU” To all cleaners and volunteers who took part in cleaning the church last Thursday in preparation for Christmas. The cleaners spent a great deal of time scrapping chewing gum from the floor and seats, please dispose of this carefully before entering the Church premises. Thank You.
MASS TIMES DURING HOLIDAY WEEK Wednesday 26th, Thursday 27th and Friday 28th December - two daily Masses at 10am and 12.15pm. The church opens at 9am and closes at 1pm.

PARISH PILGRIMAGE TO LOURDES 2008
150th Anniversary Celebration Costs per person £525 fare and lodging, £24 insurance and £25 to/from Quex Road to Stansted by coach. Single room supplement is an additional £140, due to the large amount of people expected next year, single rooms are extremely limited. Deposits of £100 per person must be paid on or before 5th January 2008. Balance payments on or before 1st July 2008. Cheques should be made payable to the “Sacred Heart Church”. Monies paid are non-refundable on cancellation of booking.
QUEX YOUTH CLUB If you are age 7-14 years, come along for arts and crafts/pool/computer/games to the Community Centre (next to the church) from 7pm to 9pm every Friday. (Cost 80p a week, plus £2 yearly membership).
HOSPITAL VISITS
FROM THE PRIEST To enable us to visit parishioners in hospital, your help is needed to advise us if any member of your family or a parishioner known to you is in hospital. The priests visit the hospitals regularly and because of Protection Regulations they can only know about a parishioner if someone tells them, so it is essential that you contact us prior to any visits.
“THE MISSION OF THE CHURCH” Bishop Alan Hopes will give a talk on the above theme at the Open Forum/End of Year Party for the African Communities on 30th December at 3pm at St. George’s Catholic Church, 132 Shernhall Street, Walthamstow.
