Pentecost Sunday On this festival of Pentecost, we celebrate, in a special way, the coming of the Holy Spirit, to us and empowering us to be Christ’s witnesses, forming us into Christ’s body. We are not merely commemorating an event in the distant past but experiencing what is happening to us at this time. Today - as everyday - is our Pentecost.
WEEKDAY EVENING MASSES Evening Masses will continue until the end of May.
CHOIR GROUPS Choir practice every Tuesday evening. Children’s group at 6.30pm and Senior group at 8pm.
ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT Every Friday after the 12.15pm Mass until 4pm.
FUNERAL Mary Philomena Clarehugh, late of Falkirk House, Maida Vale, Funeral Service at West London Crematorium on Wednesday 14th May at 10.30am.

Teresa Maria Quinn, late of Cygnet Way, Hayes, Middlesex. Funeral Mass on Wednesday 14th May at 12.15pm. followed by burial in Kensal rise Cemetery. Her remains will be received into the Church on at 6.00pm on Tuesday 13th May.

Fr. Patrick Nolan OMI, who died in Leeds. Fr. Nolan ministered for a number of years in this parish. He ministered for many years in Leeds as well as being Novice Master for the Anglo-Irish Province. Fr. Nolan’s Funeral Mass will take place in Corpus Christi Church, Leeds on Thursday next at 11am followed by burial in Killingbeck Cemetery, York Road Leeds.

CATHOLIC DEAF AWARENESS WEEK - 11th-18th May Westminster Diocese Deaf Service are organising a Deaf Awareness Day on Thursday, 15th May (morning or afternoon session) at Hinsley Room, Morpeth Terrace, Victoria - Cost £10.
The Deaf Community in Westminster have been supporting St. Louise’s Centre, Nigeria for a number of years. The Centre has asked for old hearing aids that are no longer used. If you have any, please see contact details on the notice-boards at the back of the church.
St. John Bosco Centre Children’s
Summer Holiday Camp.
The St. Vincent de Paul Society will run their St. John Bosco Camp for Children this year from 19th July to 9th August for boys and 9th to 16th August for girls. The holiday is for children who would not otherwise get away during the summer. The Crèche The Crèche is now back in session during the 12.30pm. Mass and we welcome all children from 1-5 years old. Parents of younger children might need to wait with their children for a few minutes

Welcome back to Fr. Benny. Fr. Benny has returned to spend some weeks in the parish both helping out and obtaining funds for his mission in northern India which this parish has promised to sponsor. He will make his annual appeal on Sunday 1st June. Fr. Benny is delighted to be back among his many friends and we look forward to having his smile with us until mid-June.
What’s happening with the Confessionals? As you can see, work on the confessionals is progressing well. You can now get an idea of the new size and the height of the ceiling. Lighting will be installed in the ceiling as well as and air extracting system. All going well, they should be in use in two weeks’ time.

RECITATION OF THE ROSARY IN CHURCH
Those people who have taken it upon themselves to recite the Rosary after weekday Mass are reminded that they must wait at least 5 minutes after Mass before they begin the Rosary. The Rosary must be the 5 decades without any particular added devotions and may conclude with the Litany of Loreto. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament - there will be no recitation of the Rosary on Fridays when the Blessed Sacrament is exposed.
DIAL - A - RIDE Dial-a-Ride’s door to door service for disabled Londoners is no longer charging fares. It is a service provided by Transport for London for disabled people who cannot use buses, trains or the tube. For more information, contact Dial-a-Ride’s Call Centre on 0845 999 1999.
