SCRIPTURE REFLECTION
FEAST OF THE LATERAN BASILICA
We might well ask what has today’s feast of the Dedication of the Lateran Basilica to do with the everyday life of this parish community. It is a feast which embodies a truth about the Church of which we constantly need to be reminded. We are part of something greater than what we experience each week. We are part of something which is one, holy and catholic. We are members of Christ’s body; he is the foundation of our lives.
